Rational, yet spiritually enlightening; an uplifting self-help book that I recommend to anyone experiencing depression. Dr. Jordan Peterson is detailed in his psychoanalysis of human personalities and honest about his own perspective regarding religious meanings. There are specific moments throughout the book when he digresses into religious tangents but they are always in pursuit of objectivity. Dr. Peterson simply wants to give individuals the ability to understand themselves psychologically and I never felt like he was forcing his own beliefs into my head. Even atheists can appreciate his approach to spiritual understanding through biblical interpretations. This book revealed to me a new perspective on the origins of human morality. It could be incredibly beneficial to read this book in tandem with viewing Dr. Peterson’s biblical lecture series.

I just finished @jordan.b.peterson's best-selling "12 Rules for Life." I found it incredibly uplifting despite the occasional dark corners the narrative traversed. I highly recommend this book to anyone searching for a virtuous path through life. Of course, one thing is required to begin reading this book: assume that the author knows something that you don't. 😁 #politics #psychology #depression #SelfHelp #virtue
As previously stated, Dr. Peterson makes frequent digressions on the Christian biblical stories in this book. One can hear his more detailed analyzations of Christian dogma in his biblical lecture series available at his YouTube channel.
